Tompa9 Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Hello, could somebody help me with that error? Modview can´t load my frankensteined model and I don´t know how to fix it P.S. some parts are parented to the stupidtriangle? Should i parent it to torso rather?
Archangel35757 Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 You've got 4 meshes that are not parented correctly. Do you have any hidden junk meshes? All the meshes should be linked under Stupidtriangle_off, yes? look at a working model in Modview for comparison.
Tompa9 Posted February 28, 2017 Author Posted February 28, 2017 I have not hidden junk meshes I think. Some files are connected to stupidtriangle, some to torso or head.
Tompa9 Posted February 28, 2017 Author Posted February 28, 2017 Solved thank you I have all parented them to stupidtriangle_off
AshuraDX Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 @@Tompa9 discovered this Thread just now, could we please see your "fixed" Hierarchy? I have a bad feeling about it from your description.
Tompa9 Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 Ok AshuraDX please download my Anakin pack and you will see it in Blender
AshuraDX Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 @@Tompa9 I'm not going to install Blender for this. I don't use Blender.

Tompa9 Posted March 10, 2017 Author Posted March 10, 2017 If you did, what I think you did - you should have a massive problem with dismemberment on that model. Ok, I will look after it next week

If you want dismemberment to work then you need to parent the mesh hierarchy in a similar fashion to the bone hierarchy. Just load up a standard model.glm in ModView and look at the mesh hierarchy under the surfaces branch and make yours accordingly. Tompa9 likes this
