Bek Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Hai. Recently I took up the arduous task of sorting all my music files (adding album art, proper titles, etc), took me days to do this. Once I launched up my media player it displays none of artwork accompanied by the mp3. So I'm taking this as a sign to install a new media player. Do you guys have any recommendations? I've already used Vlc, Musicbee, and Wmp, I'm looking for something new.
the_raven Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 um...Wmp as in WinAmp?Have you tried KMPlayer? or Windows Media Player Classic? Bek likes this
Bek Posted January 21, 2017 Author Posted January 21, 2017 Wmp - Windows Media Player. I've also used Groove music that comes with windows 10. I'll check that out.
Circa Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Get an ID3 tag editor to ensure the info is set. Maybe some artwork wasn't set properly by the player you used. Bek and the_raven like this

Onysfx Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 I definitely recommend Winamp, I've been using it for my video game music collection. the_raven and Bek like this
IrocJeff Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 Also with Winamp don't forgot about the Shoutcast Radio it comes with. Access to internet radio stations from all over the world. Bek and the_raven like this

Above I said "it displays none of the artwork", which is like half true. It repetitively displays the same artwork for every artist, despite having the proper artwork loaded up on every mp3. However there IS a option to get the player to display the correct artwork, but it's a toggleable option for a individual track. I really don't wanna sit down and enable the correct artwork for each track.
Onysfx Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 @@Bek If your looking for video game music, I recommend going here: https://hcs64.com/mboard/forum.php?showthread=26929 These guys have VG music ripped raw, but they can only be played with certain plugins, which winamp supports (and foobar2000, but I don't use that one).
