DarthStevenus Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 I'm making a custom NPC for a single player mod and I want them to have the assassin droid shield. Problem is, the NPC isn't using the assassin droid model, so visually it doesn't have the shield. I can get the shield damage radius by making the NPC's class CLASS_ASSASSIN_DROID. When I walk up to the NPC the player gets hurt by the shield. You just can't see it. Could I perhaps just add a particle effect to the NPC somehow? Or could I frankenstein the assassin droid shield with the new NPC's model?
Ramikad Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 The only way seems to be adding the shield mesh (force_shield_off) from the assassin droid to the new model, or alternatively make a new one with the proper name. Bek likes this
