For those of you who don't know, you can't host a JA server or a MB2 server on a Mac.

What's wrong with ./openjkded.x86_64 +set dedicated "2" +set fs_game "mymod"?

You'd need to do it from the Terminal in OSX.  Pretty sure the openjkded is located in the OpenJK App isn't it? @@redsaurus can probably enlighten us on the correct parameters to launch an application from terminal with bonus arguments.

I used Terminal but it doesn't do anything.

You have to open the ports on your router first, I believe. Then open a Terminal window, drag the openjkded.x86_64 into the window and add +set dedicated "2" +set fs_game "MB2" and press Enter.
