Swords besides the Sith Sword cause the game to crash.

I don't know if any one noticed this, but any sword mods besides the Sith Sword cause the game to crash for some strange reason. Has anyone encountered this, and is there a way to fix it?

Whenever a sword I got from a mod, say this one ( https://jkhub.org/files/file/922-advent-children-buster-sword-replacement/ ), is equipped onto an NPC (Say and Imperial Officer) and whenever that NPC even draws the sword, the game crashes. Has this happened before?

If you want a fix I was having this until just an hour ago- I think it's to do with the .npc file itself!

 

Go to the NPC you gave the sword to, and make sure its got all these lines:

 

weapon WP_SABER

saberstyle      1

FP_SABER_DEFENSE 1

FP_SABER_OFFENSE 1

 

I don't know which exact one is causing the crash, but it should be one of the above.
