Wookiee Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 For some reason the client for these mods refuse to detect or load properly it says either you need to download the plugin or the client plugin is undefined. Anyone else who runs openjk experience these type of problems? --Wookiee
eezstreet Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 Try cleaning out your homepath, perhaps? C:\Users\bleh\Documents\My Games\OpenJK
Wookiee Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 Actually I had to put the client plugin in C:\Users\bleh\Documents\My Games\JA\GameData\japlus for it to load.
Raz0r Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 You shouldn't have to put it there. Where is it saying your "plugin" is undefined? On a JA+ server, I assume? For me, it just works. I place the PK3s in GameData/japlus and run openjk.x86.exe with +set fs_game "japlus" Depending on the error message given, it could be failing to load for a number of reasons (file not found, unable to extract, missing runtime library, OS not supported by the settings for that compile, etc)
Wookiee Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 I am running Windows 8.1 64-Bit. The weirdest thing is I had the plugin in the japlus directory and it failed to load even with japro3.pk3. But it is working now so that is better than nothing.
ensiform Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 You have conflicting dlls between the gamedata mod folder and the user directory mod folder most likely.
Smoo Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Try run in administation mode when you got the pk3 in your japlus etc folder/s
ensiform Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Administrator mode is totally unnecessary with OpenJK.
