Strange visor on the Saboteur model

After I browsed some models with Noesis, I got to the Saboteur model and found something interesting.

It looks like a leftover the developers didn't use.

 

 

 

 

I assume that the developers initially intended to give the model some kind of visor and later scrapped the idea.

But no matter if it should have been a transparent or a metallic visor, I think it could be a nice upgrade to the model.

It would make the model less boring and could hide the face that reminds me of Rosh (and I don't like anything that reminds me of Rosh).
