So I was playing the Multiplayer earlier tonight, and I started scrolling down the characters list and I was surprised to see an icon of Ezio.  I was more surprised to see that

it was a really well ported model. I don't know how to port models, and I don't remember where I got this model from, and there is no readme file for this, so my question is;

Does anyone know who ported this?

 

I'm going to create myself a skin using this model, and I'd like to give some credit to who ever ported this. There's even a slight glow added to the skin already.

I sadly have no idea, but when this is finished its gonna be awesome

It is a ported model nonetheless, so the only thing I can give credit for, is the shader and team skins.

By the way, who do skins in multiplayer work? If I'm playing as a model that someone else doesn't have in their base folder, do they still see it?

They will see you as Kyle Katarn -- in Multiplayer, other players appear to you as Kyle Katarn if they are using a skin or a model that you don't have.

Could you show the icon of this skin? I guess I know who is the author.

Sure;  here is the icon default for the skin. I've already fixed the textures and it's ready to be sent out.

I uploaded the model but it wasn't approved, apparently I did not modify it enough

If you only added a shader, then of course it wouldn't get approved. Still has ripped textures
