IrocJeff Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 I have a scenario to run by some of you who may have used this before in a script. How well does the NPC really ignore a target? What I am going to do is use the JO prisoner NPC as a sort of slave labor character. They will "operate" the machines and be present in my brewery section of the base. There will still be stormtroopers around as well. One potential snag that I can think of is that If said prisoner is in the middle of a trooper shooting at me and and I am shooting at him, will the stormtrooper outright ignore the prisoner If I am in his line of fire? Or, will the trooper move to a different combat point to get a better shot at me and consider the prisoner an obstruction?
therfiles Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Personally, I would just make a painscript and have the Prisoner run to a far off navgoal and run a cower animation. Probably will fix your problems right there.
Asgarath83 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 After the prisoner reach the navgoal.... you can set a new painscript for prisoner as NULL, if not, every time is pained run again to navgoal XD
