Lord Spook Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Hi, guys... an issues i'm having these days, that i can't make "perfect" JPEG file for my .pk3 file. I took a screenshot via Fraps and put in Levelshots folder, then i made a .zip file. Than extracted all to my GameData/Base folder.I started teh game, now here's teh problem, I cant see my level screenshot I can see there's map and all that stuff but there is no screenshot, I will be really thankful if you can help me. Thanks
Circa Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 It has have dimensions that are a power of 2. Ex: 1024 x 1024 px.
Apprentice Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Apart from the dimensions, the image must be stored in the /levelshots folder and must have the same name as your map (or a shader pointing it to your screenshot(s)). If you fail to do this, then it will not work . . . Circa likes this

Circa Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 How to set 1024 x 1024 px?You can do it via MSPaint or GIMP or Photoshop, whichever you have. Just resize the image. It's extremely simple. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/resize-a-picture-using-paint
Merek Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I personally use 512x512 only because I'm lazy FYI; its not very good quality and the image is like bent in Jedi Academy
Circa Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 You just have to take the screenshot in widescreen and then resize it to a square. The game stretches it when needed and it looks fine.
Lord Spook Posted April 5, 2014 Author Posted April 5, 2014 Yea I did it, but when I get in game and open teh map I get a error in console :/
