Asgarath83 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Hello, i am working about a map and tryinto into the game, with open jk engine, i have this crash error. someone can told me why that's happened? i have GTK radiant 1.5.0 yesterday not load to me some textures so i have reset default preference settings. maybe is for that, or maybe is because i am working as "custom JA modification" and not as Jedi academy Singleplayer map?thanks for every answers.
Solution therfiles Posted January 27, 2014 Solution Posted January 27, 2014 This usually happens to me when I try to use JPGs that are too high-quality. Using GIMP, I turn off all the "optimizing" export features to keep the file size down.
Asgarath83 Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 Oh. What madness ... >.< Yeah, effectly i have some new textures resized to 512x512 that pass me a friend for same elemental symbols. i think i need to resave the JPG using paintshop pro in a new, different file with low quality, right? O.oHeee, she want ever get the photorealism super extra strong! LOL, JA is pretentious engine. XD. therfiles likes this

Omicron Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I found it was only caused by progressive jpgs, doesn't really matter what size it is, as long as the x and y dimensions are to the power of 2. eezstreet likes this
