Boothand Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Suggestion: Being able to click a hotlink when someone is quoted to be directed to that post, instead of manually going to, for example, the previous page and finding it.
Link Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 You mean in notifications? If so, there are two links in a notification (One to the thread itself and one to the actual quoted post)
Boothand Posted January 8, 2014 Author Posted January 8, 2014 You mean in notifications? Ah no, I mean right here in this quote. If what you just said had been on a previous page, all I'd have to do to read the full post you made, would be to click the "SiLink, on 08 Jan 2014 - 09:35 AM, said" link. Then I would be taken to the page it was written on, and it would display that post. Many forums have this feature, so I often catch myself clicking the top of the quote to skip to the quoted post in this forum too.
Boothand Posted January 8, 2014 Author Posted January 8, 2014 Oh man, I just noticed this feature is already here, on the right side of the quote. So sorry, haha. How inattentive of me. I will not be offended if you recycle this topic. Circa likes this
Link Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 I only noticed it recently myself (On JAWA we use the same forum software) it's really not that obvious if you skim text like I do.
