Tempust85
I get this in the console when loading my map. What does this error mean, and how can I fix it? Google has a quite a few different explainations. :\ Link to comment
Agent Jones
I think it has something to do with degenerate patches. Maybe you should just ignore it. Link to comment

Solution eezstreet Posted October 1, 2013 Solution Share Posted October 1, 2013 You can ignore it. It happens all the time and there is no serious consequence of it. Link to comment

Pande
The warning means that the engine can't make a collision plane for a part of a patch mesh, which may result in being able to pass through patches in a certain way. Make sure you haven't hidden sections of a patch mesh by collapsing them into the neighbouring vertices. I'm not even 100% sure though that that is what causes a degenerate patch (which is what causes cm_gridplane error) but it's my best guess. Tempust85 and Futuza like this Link to comment
Tempust85
Hmm, this only happened when I was putting brushes on the culled side of the patches to stop leaks. Link to comment
