[JA] Single Player Mapping

Hey there, thanks for coming to my aid! Basically, I'd like to take a swing at crafting a single player level, but I've noticed a few things, such as func_breakables and triggers not doing what I'm used to when I load the map up in a single player game. I'm hoping that someone with more knowledge than I might be able to help, or point me in the direction of an idiot's guide to single player mapping for Jedi Academy.

I'm sure there are people who could help you if you asked specific questions. "I've noticed some thing aren't doing what I'm used to" is nothing anybody can really help with.

I was making the assumption that someone with knowledge on the subject would recognise immediately what I was referring to. To be specific, I've created two target_speakers which trigger when I "use" the switch in multiplayer. When I try this in single player however, I cannot interact with the trigger. On top of that, I have a func_breakable that works in multiplayer, but the whole brush is invisible in single player.

I've never experienced either of that, could you provide a small example map of that happening?

Single player is kinda weird. I remember on a map called rpg_rift, in multiplayer I could fit into a very narrow elevator and press the button, and it would go down fine. However, when I played the map in single player, the elevator would go down, but not me with it? Why? My playermodel wouldn't fit into the elevator. Some switches that worked in mp on some maps also didn't work in sp. Something about how in singleplayer, the collisions are stranger...

As you can see here, after I pressed the elevator in single player on the map, I didn't go down with it.

...and now its further down and I'm still not following it.

But as you can see, in multiplayer I go down fine with it.

P.S. I couldn't make the image appear in the forum, said I wasn't allowed :(. You'll have to follow the link :(.

Only thing I can remember is that mp and sp have different ways of working. Someone made that comment on the filefront forums. I'd search there if you haven't yet.
