Is this possible to make structures "normal walls" in radiant? I'm new in radiant. Sorry for my bad english.

The Source Engine is based on the Quake 2 Engine and thus lacks the Quake 3 Engine's new Patch Meshes for curved surfaces. Q3Map2 can turn patches into "ordinary" geometry with the -patchmeta switch, but the Source Engine has its own compiler without support for patches.

Hmmm i know you can make maps for Hammer in 3DS Max, but i'm not sure if you can import these brushes into 3DS Max and then export them to Hammer.  Why not just re-make the map in Hammer to add your own personal touch?

I remember remaking a few Goldeneye 64 maps and scenery/props in Hammer/3DS and i always found it rather fun :D

^^Besides it'll look more awesome if you make it original, especially given the fact most people are against ported anythings.

I wouldn't mind having a go at it in my spare time but, with lack of a dueling system, it'd be pointless.
