Raz0r Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Somehow add ability to override HUD tic count. possibly through "special" keyword Add cg_saberTrail 0-1 from MP Add cg_hudFiles 1 from MP Tempust85 likes this
Tempust85 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 That'd save me having to try and allow more in the code.
katanamaru Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Somehow add ability to override HUD tic count. possibly through "special" keyword Add cg_saberTrail 0-1 from MP Add cg_hudFiles 1 from MPSo what does this mean?
katanamaru Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 The cg_saberTrail 0-1 and cg_hudFiles 1 from mp. What would those commands do in sp? Is the saber trail code the same as the one in the .sab files?Would the hud files allow us to only have the numbers and no bars?
eezstreet Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Enter those cvars into MP and your questions will be answered.
katanamaru Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Unfortunetly my laptop hasn't been able to run mp for ~5 years. One day it did, and the next time I tried it it didn't.
Raz0r Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 cg_saberTrail 0-1 to enable/disable saber trails cg_hudFiles 1 to disable using the .menu, use hard-coded simple HUD instead.

katanamaru Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Last time I tried it it would crash/quit to desktop when it was loading a map. I typically used the Bespin map to test models and skins before deciding to make a npc for use in sp. I don't have any mp specific mods installed (code or maps). I could probably do a reinstall, but I don't want to lose any mods in the process.
ensiform Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 but I don't want to lose any mods in the process. So move all your games to a non-windows partition or physical drive?
Circa Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Uninstalling won't remove your mods. But to be safe, just move them to a different folder. Make sure to include your jaconfig.cfg too. I'm pretty sure it asks if you want to keep your configurations and files when uninstalling.
