Realistic First Person Mod

Hey Guys and Gals,

 

I was doing some searching for a mod for either Outcast or Academy to fix one thing that always bothered me about the first person modes in both of these games, the fact that the camera doesn't flip when your character model did; what I mean by that is that when your character model does a cool backflip animation (while in first person), the camera isn't also flipped/rotated.

 

Anyway, any of you guys ever want a similar thing (or better yet, know of a mod that already does this)?

"TrueView" in OJP, also used in various mods - MB2, JA++

Is there a way to get 'True View' for base JA? I have used it in other mods, but it would be nice to also use it in base JA.

So if I install OJP or MB2, that will carry over to the single player portion of the game as well?

Nope. But I guess I could implement TrueView at some point. @@Raz0r: Did modbase have TrueView?

No, it didn't. I could dig up some OJP code if you need it.

That would give me a headache. 

 

The First Person lightsaber mod is a poor man's version of this, but it doesn't keep the same first person mode. It changes the camera to zoom in up close like in JO's first person lightsaber mode, and makes your model look like Kyle. It's for lightsaber combat but if you keep guns set to third person, they would work the same way.
