It's a bit crashy, especially with sound file playback. It's probably better to use a ZIP tool that's more fully-featured, and still actively maintained and updated today; such as 7-zip, WinRAR, WinZIP, etc.

All ZIP programs can open PK3 files if you associate the file extension with it.

Ah, 7-zip can open pk3 files? Never knew that, thanks Didz!

Strange bug: I can only open o file inside paskape, with folders no problem. But files? can only open 1. LoL.

windows explorer works perfectly fine too actually, zipping files and renaming the extension from .zip to .pk3. But I cannot work mods for JKA without pakscape, as it saves my last visited folders and I have it set up for the JKA base. It's just perfect to have it dedicated like that and it's got everything I need.
