About This File

A bridge with lots of opportunities to jump, climb, and generally very three-dimensional gameplay. Fun to play with or without weapons.

Watch out for the train coming through every now and then...

Designed with mostly FFA in mind, but also works well as a duel map, and makes for interesting CTF gameplay as well.

Looks pretty nice, I like maps like this that take a middle road in terms of how much detail to put into it.

What happens if you walk into the tunnel?

If you walk into the tunnel, you'll probably get hit by a train. If you don't, you'll at some point find a dead end, and will then get hit by a train.

I tried this out in sp using the 'map bridge' command in the console. I absolutely loved the map, the concept is brilliant.

Im not sure if this was buggy behavior, but the train didnt seem to work properly for me. As soon as it came out of the tunnel the first time, it sinks down into the track, and appears to get stuck in the track mesh (ie I can see the two meshes z-fighting in places). While this happens, I can hear the sound of lightsaber getting stuck behind something (ie when you throw the lightsaber, but pulling it back it gets stuck behind something, so the game plays a clattering noise)

Played a few 32-player bot matches on this map; probably more than the map really supports, but oh well. Seems to play pretty well, bots tend to end up brawling in the train's path and get themselves run down; can't really expect much else from them, of course, but I do have to wonder what you'd see human players doing in a decently sized FFA. (How many would spend any significant amount of time on ground level?) The first time I got run down by the train, it seemed to get stuck on my corpse until the latter disappeared; however, this did not happen any other time people died to the train. I did not experience any issue with the train sinking down into the track.

I haven't tried Duel or CTF on this map, so no comment there. The lack of music isn't necessarily bad - there's probably quite a few players who prefer it that way - but was somewhat distracting for me.

Overall, I like what I've played; well done!
