I exactly have 2GB so I don't need it, anyway what is a safe_malloc error? And does this make the compile faster?

There is an LAE version written by RoboPhred that uses a workaround for 32 bit systems that allows the use of 2.5GB...need to find it tho :P

Is this modified by RoboPhred too?

Just curious, does this improve the speed of compiles if you have say...12 GB of ram and 12 processor cores?

It should do, yes.

I was wondering if some installation instructions could be made or posted? I am having trouble installing this. I am not exactly sure where to put the files? in the GTK radiant directory? Gamedata? Base? The only instructions are in the "Previous_Readme.txt" file and I am not finding the instructions clear. It states that "IT MUST SIT IN ITS OWN DIRECTORY inside the game dir. It cannot
sit in the same directory as GtkRadiant as the DLL versions are". What about the q3map2.exe?
