Then the radiator gets a crack and needs to be replaced. Done.

Now a front wheel/brake is making a metal-on-metal squeal. Arrgh!

I wanted to test some mods and make some animations this weekend, but now I'll be doing that.

Brake pads take no time at all to change. Unless you muck up and create a leak in your brake system by taking too much apart. Then you have to bleed the system. (You may need a new rotor or have your current one resurfaced if its metal on metal bad.)

Yep I've done that with my dad before. I hit a huge pothole at my apartment complex so I don't know if that has done something worse.
