Thanks MoonDog, I might of been able to fix it. The cut outs of the characters had a shader with nonsolid and the rest of the brush i used nodraw_solid. So I edited the shader and changed the nodraw to chaulk. Havnt got that error in the last 2 BSPs, so we will see if it continues to work. I've made some mini maps with the same lay out with basic items to test different hint brushes. Seems to work in the mini maps but when i apply the same type in my map, it doesnt want to work the same... I'm almost ready to just submit it as is to get it out there, and then maybe try to make a new layout and stuff to get a better FPS map, but no idea how long that will take. Jango, thats just a copy of the Country maps from ShroomDuck. You can get the Homer model and Duffman model on their own. PS. if anyone plays the Simpsons Tapped Out game on their iPhone, add me as a neighbour --> aka_kahn

My distancecull is at the default. From my understanding, and i might be wrong, but making it lower will make u see less and make the farther items disappear into the sky texture right? I can see when i turn on r_showtris 1, it is still drawing everything even if i cant see it after its disappeared into the sky texture. I keep trying new hint brushes but lately i keep getting the annoying error of SV_SetBrushModel: NULL when i load the map. Ive done brush clean up, selected my whole my, inverted the selection and deleted everything else. Pressed L to make sure there wasnt any entries with no brushes. I get it working then the next bsp it comes back... Making me annoyed i have to bsp it again to try out the new VIS.

Looks like some of the last posts were deleted. So I did do some editing for that view last night. Here is a top view of my map to show VIS stuff; This is the version i sent you guys (also have a side view in the top right corner showing i have a hint brush touching the top of the clifts going to both sides) Solid Black is Structure; ie, Clifts Blue Lines is VIS Lines i drew in Transparent blue is a Hint brush. (i have lots more but that just a main one)(The bigger hint brush there is actually from the ground to the top of the clift, then i have the one from the top of the clift to the top of the map as in the side view in the top corner) So i then made the duff beer plant a structure and taller, and i'm hoping for the VIS to be like this; Red block= Duff Beer I'm really hoping this will prevent the views going straight through it adding to the low FPS. Still have to try to prevent the long one from corner to corner, Might make the center buildings taller to add a divider in it. Just have to figure out best spots to put the Hint brushes to make it work. I did bsp with this and it still seems to be drawing behind the duff plant still for some reason...I thought i had it all figured out...

Darn really? I'm now getting between 30-90, no more 10 or 15fps like before.... I can see if i can improve it more but will take time.

Im close to finishing what most likely be the last map I release and am just looking for some people to test it out before I do. It will be version 2 of one of my previous maps.

This is Rosh Penin who has turned evil for good. With his fire hair and dark red for the colour skin of his clothes, he looks even more evil. Also, he has a fire pheniox on his left sholder, fire eyebows and the light brown cloth on his sholders has been removed to make it look for like armor. This is my first JA skin and I dont think it will be the last. This skin is based on the Rosh Penin skin/model. This skin will also replace the Rosh skin in the game to make him look what i think is a bit kooler. Thx to my friend Super Man for helping with it. -

This is the Human Merc model. I was planing on useing this model to make a armor skin but then after starting the armor, it looked more and more like motor cross protection so i turned it into a Swoop Rider. There is a Red and Blue version in this pack. The only difference between the blue and normal, it is the cloth from his waist . This skin took me about 3 days to make( i was doing other things like studing for my exams). I hope to make a new version with bot support and new sounds if i find any that fit the skin. This is about my 3rd JA skin and I think one of my best. I hope you all like it. This was the Human Merc model and the rest of the textures or mine -

This map is loosely based on the Jedi Council GC map form JK2. In the main area, there are 4 duel rooms, one interigation room, and one Armory. Also a bar to sit back and relax. Threw the main doors, to the left, is a medical room to be healed. To the right are the bedrooms to rest and watch some good old tv. And straight is the main duel room with stands to watch, also a VIP room for the high power followers of Kahn and Neo. There is also an elevator going to the basement threw the min doors. In the basement, right outside of the elevator doors, there is a dungeon with many dead council members who betrayed Kahn and Neo. If you go right around the corner, there is a duel circle after jumping up the pillars like in the Jedi Council GC map. Finally, all the way around the corner is the Sith Council room. This is an area for clans to talk. There are benches and tables to sit back and relax and talk. There is a secret cave somewhere that leads to the tomb of Kahn and Neo. Have fun finding the entrance and the way threw the maze. Also, if you have played the RJ_Sublime map, you know about their control center. I loved the idea and added one here too. There are three switched. One to close off the bar, one to hide/show the signs on all doors, and one to transform a room. There are some areas that have low lighting but I am not the best with lighting yet. There are so many area to play so I hope you have fun and I hope to put out another version with all the suggestions that you have/will give me. This is Moe's tavern from the Simpsons! This map has everything, the bar, pool table, booths to eat at, the "love" Machine, and lots more. There even the Flaming Moe! There is lots of room outside, on the roof - where the B-Sharps sang, and a little less inside but still enough room to duel. I ahve also put about 5 songs together for the background music. All the music has been in an episode and I think you should know them all(maybe not the last one, its the newest). Outside, there is also a parking lot with three cars. Behind the building is also a dumpster. I made this map after seeing an episode of the simpsons with Moe's Tavern in it(which epiode doesnt?) but then I thought I would take a break from Sith Council Verion 2 and make this. I have made all tetxures from extacting colours from pics of the tavern. So all textures are mine. I had also wanted to add Moe's Office but I cound't find any pics of it. I am planing on making more of the town so once I do, I hope to find a pic of it so I can add it next version. This map took me about 2 1/2 weeks off and on... -

If you go threw the doors for the classroom, u will see one class with desks to learn the basic, and a library to access those old Sith files. If u go to the end of the hallway, there is a Cafe. Make sure you eat enough so u can finish all your training. Also a bar to sit back and relax. Threw the main doors, to the left, is a medical room to be healed. To the right are the bedrooms to rest and watch some good old TV. And straight is the main duel room with stands to watch, also a VIP room for the high power followers of Kahn and Neo. There is also an elevator going to the basement threw the min doors. In the basement, to the right of the elevator doors, there is a jail. This jail has four different jail cells in it. Two of the jail cells can only be opened by one side. Another jail cell can be opened from both sides and have work-out equipment in it. The last cell can not be opened. This cell has all the dead council members who betrayed Kahn and Neo. If you go right around the corner, there is a duel circle after jumping up the pillars like in the Jedi Council GC map. Finally, to the left of the elevator doors is the Sith Council room. This is an area for clans to talk. There are benches and tables to sit back and relax and talk. In the main Room, you also see a big door opposite to the door I just talked about. Threw the doors u will find one more door, and threw there is the NEW out door area. There are many trees to hind behind and attack people. To the left of the entrance, there is a water fall, nice area to duel. Straight across u see a red light on the wall, go and press the button and the wall will open. There is a Court House to judge the lamers and a rancor pit beneath to teach them a lessen. And finally to the right of the entrance to the out door area and another waterfall, but dont fall down or you will fall to your death. There is a NEW secret cave somewhere that leads to the tomb of Kahn and Neo. In the tomb, there is now a sacrifice room to kill all those needed. Have fun finding the entrance and the way threw the maze. Also, if you have played the RJ_Sublime map, you know about their control center. I loved the idea and added one here too. Well, this is a few building from the show The Simpsons. First is Moe's tavern! This map has everything, the bar, pool table, booths to eat at, the "love" Machine, and lots more. There even the Flaming Moe! I also added Moe's office in this version of Moe's Tavern. Second is the Kwik-E-Mart. I have added shelfs full of different products you have seen in the episodes, the main counter, arcade games, and can't forget about the squishy machine! Third building is Krusty Burger. There are benches to eat around the edge of the building, and has a place to order your food. in the area to make the food, there is a grill and fry fryer. I also added a camera so u can see when someone pulls up to the drive threw. Forth building is the church. I have benches all in to sit and pray, the main altar, but I also added the room for Sunday school and Rev. Lovejoy's office. The last building is the NoiceLand Arcade. This place is packed full of arcade games seen in many episodes, pool table, air hockey and popcorn! I have also added a huge park where Jebediah Springfield's statue is located for duels and FFA's. I have also put about 7 songs together for the background music. All the music has been in an episode and I think you should know them all (maybe not the last one, its the newest). After releasing Moe's Tavern, I saw many people wanted more of Springfield, so, here it is. I have made all textures from extracting colours from pictures of Springfield. So all textures are mine. There are no error's that I know of and one of the best FPS I have one any of my maps. Hope you all like it. -

This is a small duel level in the center of a volcano. It has a floating rock in the center to duel on. Also lava falling over the top of the sides of the mountain into the pit of lava below. Well, most of my maps are very "square" so I decided to make a small duel map testing out curves and patches to see what it's all like and this is what I came up with. -

his is the Final Version of my Sith Council Map. This map is loosely based on the Jedi Council GC map form JK2. In the main area, there are 3 duel rooms, one interrogation room, one Armory and a Library. Also a bar to sit back and relax. Threw the main doors, to the left, is a medical room to be healed. To the right are one set of the bedrooms to rest and watch some good old tv. And straight is the other set of bedrooms and to the end of the hallway is the Main Duel room with stands to watch, also a VIP room for the high power followers of Kahn and Neo. There is also an elevator going to the basement threw the main doors. In the basement, there is a jail. This jail has four different jail cells in it. All the cells can be locked and unlocked from the guards room. But hopefully they do not see you escaping from your room. The Pillar Room is back and located beside the jail. Finally, on the other side of the hallway is the Sith Council room. This is an area for clans to talk. There are chairs to sit back and relax and talk. In the main Room, you also see a big door opposite to the door I just talked about. Threw the doors you will find another set of doors. Threw there is the out door area. There is many trees to hind behind and attack people. To the left of the entrance, there is a water fall, nice area to duel. Straight across you see a red light on the wall, go and press the button and the wall will open. There is a Court House to judge the lamers and a rancor pit beneath to teach them a lessen. And finally to the right of the entrance to the out door area and another waterfall, with an area down below to also duel. There is a NEW secret cave somewhere that leads to the tomb of Kahn and Neo. Also, if you have played the RJ_Sublime map, you know about their control center. I have continued to use this idea in this version. There are three switches. One to close off the bar, one to transform the lava pit, and one to transform the acid pit. Seeing there are many players who love to use noclip, I have come up with new ways to prevent you from using it to use the hidden secrets. I call it a "True Enter". Unless you enter the room the way you where suppose to, you will either be frozen in the room once you come unclip, or the secrets just wont be shown. Before you tell me there are problems or bugs, like i just said, if you use nolcip and become frozen in a room once you unclip, this is not a bug, I made it so it would do that. Also, if a button hurts you when you think its suppost to hurt someone else... no one says thats a bug either. Please do not e-mail me asking for hints and how to find the secrets, i will not tell you. I do not make secrets just to tell everyone how to get to them... wheres the fun in that? -

This skin pack conceits of a Fire Reborn Skin, a Smoke/Wind Reborn Skin, a Lightning Reborn Skin, an Earth Reborn Skin, and finally a Water Reborn Skin. Each one was made from the Reborn model. I made this model after seeing the Fire Sith Skin made from JayK and thought it would be a great idea to make one with all the other element plus some that are not really elements. I am not sure if u could use them for RPGs or anything like that but they look good for FFA's. These are my first set of skins that I have made public and I think they are my best. I hope to make more skin as i get more ideas. My favourite on is the Fire Reborn Skin, I think that one looks the best but well they all do look good. I'm thinking on making one or two others. Not sure yet. If i get any more idea from my friends I might update this file. Also special thanks to J_Man, Matrix, and Aaron for giving me great ideas and helping me pick the elements, and another thanks for J_Man for helping me with my beta testing.
