  1. Jedi Outcast was the first Star Wars game that I've ever played. Happy that console players will be able to play it. Funny that as a child when I played JK 2, I came into this conclusion that Star Wars games are great.(Even though that SW has both great and disappointing games.)
  2. It was replaced by console hack'n slash Star Wars games. Episode 3 game was more successful than JA that they decided to make TFU instead of a new JK.(And it worked well for them since TFU sold 6 million copies)
  3. Have you played wii version of TFU 2 ? That one is the only TFU game where you have force sense. Forse sense in that is used to : 1-solve some puzzles(similar to JA) 2-see those invisible enemies(terror troopers they were called I think) Force sense in TFU 2 has better effects than the sense in JA.(you kinda see the environments like that character Visas from Kotor 2) Force speed in TFU was replaced by Dash. Dash is poor for fast running since you have to mash the dash button repeatedly but I like the way that you can force push enemies via dash+push.(which is recommended on snipers)
  4. Heal: Force heal in JA is similar to having a longer regenerating HP than COD games. Grip: You have to break the camera in order to to smash an enemy to the ground. Lightning: It's true that level 1 and 2 are useless. Another problem of lightning imo is this that it won't stun the enemies. It also has this problem that level 3 is too op that makes stormtroopers too easy. Force Drain: It has this problem that you can't grab drain lightsaber weilding enemies.(Since they just push you instantly) Imo Force Unleashed did force powers far superior than JA and JK 2. In TFU you will gain HP by killing enemies, Force grip is more fun to use , lightning is useful in weaker levels(You can stun enemies) and isn't op.
  5. Is there any option to disable the Twirl and lightsaber barrier moves for the enemies ? Or any way to reduce these moves damages ?
  6. At very least we should be grateful that Star Wars is getting a new Jedi action game. SW could end up like other franchises that won't ever get any proper video games anymore.(For example Indiana Jones , Dune , 007 , Star Trek etc.)

If they used the JA combat then the whole media and gamers would bash it for being unfair and cheap by today's standards.(In JA , ai was also pretty cheap and used one hit kill moves by reading the players input.) Even the multiplayer of JA was as unbalanced as hell which is why the community of JA prefer to play movie battles 2 instead of JA multiplayer.

I don't think JFO will be a 4 hour game because this game has been in development for 3-4 years.(In contrast to TFU 2 that had less than 1 year development probably due to Lucasarts losing a lot of money for FRD Battlefront 3 and Indiana Jones and the Staff Of Kings PS3/Xbox 360 that both were canceled) As for dismemberment it makes me laugh that people say "Jedi Knight 2 and JA had dismemberment !" because dismemberment in these games are as unrealistic as hell.

  10. It's a game. It doesn't have to apply every rules of Star Wars.

Imo combat of Jedi Knight is only great for lightsaber vs lightsaber but it doesn't work that well for lightsaber vs guns.(Since anyone that tries to run and gun will be too hard to hit with lightsaber. maybe that's why stormtroopers in JA will just stand and shoot most of the time.) Since Jedi Fallen Order similar to TFU has far more lightsaber vs guns combat than lightsaber vs lightsaber(Since it's in dark times era) I think they made the right choice of not using JK 2 and JA combat for it.

  13. I made this to ask about the way that some features work in JA.(May ask more questions after this.) I kinda feel that push/pull kinda have a random chance to succeed against force users. is it true ? Or it's dependent on some other factors like movements and etc ?
  14. For open world, I would like to have a GTA style bounty hunter game. Unfortunately I don't think it's possible due to Disney.Since Disney doesn't want a SW game where kids can go around and kill everyone. I think that's because: 1.Jedi Academy wasn't really that successful. (Even episode 3 game was more successful than JA.) 2.And JA combat doesn't works well for consoles due to controllers.(Consoles are the main platform of games these days for selling far more copies than PC) But there is still some JK inspirations in this game though.(Slowing down time, force pulling)
  15. Thanks everyone. I tried modifying it and it looks like it will take effect when you restart the level. BTW in force power sections some FPs have different names. May anyone post some description of each variable ? I also think that I want to reduce the flying speed of jump troopers, which variable should I change ?

  18. I'm enjoying my xth replay. Unfortunately JA has this problem that enemies sometimes can insta kill you. For example one time I was fighting 2 enemies and in one moment one of them used force grip on me and the other one used saber throw which killed me instantly. (Enemies may also suddenly decide to use force drain on you when your Force Power is 0 and it again results in a game over) Is there any way to disable force powers and special moves that enemies have ?(Like that kick move that all of them can use)

  21. Thanks. Didn't know that option. BTW about the credits, is it possible to make a credits video available in the menu instead of playing it at the end of each level ? (Since I am forced to always skip it.)

Nice update. 1.New high quality pictures fit this mod much better. 2.Graphics has also improved compared to previous version. 3.new challenges and missions are great.(From what I played. still haven't got the time to play them all.) 4.I like this idea to be able to explore duel areas and spawn enemies there. 5.IDK if it was in previous update, but I like this option to change lightsaber damage. I just don't like the new lightsaber combat. It's so imprecise compare to vanilla JA. Is there any chance to release a version of this mod with vanilla JA lightsaber combat ? My problem with this new lightsaber combat is it's animations, sometimes my character will stop the swing midway for some reason.(And these are the swings that would hit the enemies.) Thanks for this mod. Edit: Sorry I forgot to tell this, in Jedi Master Difficulty the Obiwan Vs Jango Fett mission is impossible.(Obiwan route)
  23. Nothing till I play it myself. Trailers can be deceiving. But I will get it and expect it to be a brand new type of jedi action game compare to TFU and JK so that I won't get disappointed in it for being different mechanic and gameplay wise.
  24. I have a problem. Starkiller's last trial doesn't work for me.(Gets stuck in the loading)
