  1. Can the 4th press be the reset. It would be indicated with echo in my console? Simplier the better.
  2. Anything You type in to the console. If possible for MovieBattles and universal ones would be the best. Go ahead and share stuff for other mods, who knows maybe a part of it will work in other modifications. Icarus scripts too - Icarus scripts are modifcations you then /exec saved in a form of cfg file, yes? whatever, give me anything You are stashing there! At the moment I am struggling to make a bind for Super Push in Movie Battle. It is in this order: pulling opponent, switching to melee and then pushing. The tricky part about is to do it without ;wait. It takes time to use power and my current attempt looks like this and is not working because ;wait has been disabled and can not be used in binds: /bind <key> "force_pull; wait50; weapon 1; wait50; force_throw" (force_throw is the name of push in MB, whatever reason behind it.) Is there a replacement or something similiar to ;wait serving alike function?   4. We can cut off: heads, legs, hands, cut the body in half from left to right & right to left. That is something already, but what if we had possibility to dismember under other angles for example the forty-five degrees angle. Cutting from head to crotch making the model to get divided by vertical ninety degress angle would be amusing to watch, undoubtly. Any thoughs my dear, psychopats players?
  5. - What to do, Bistan with his size might not fit normal model he is considerably smaller compared to an Imperial Soldier. - Pao is 1.72m (5ft 8in) not too short for a Stormtrooper. - Zeb is kinda Wookie size so Soldier class might be not an option for him either. He is not a "Wookie" as a species so giving him there seems like a violation. I saw a pretty cool idea of putting K-2SO as well in to that class. On the side, MBII - greatest JA Modification ever created: Should the Wookie class be re-named to something else ("Companion", for example) ?

I will be writing an email to Disney (https://licensing.disney.com) to ask about permission to use those files - without modifying them directly and with all respect - accreditation for original authors. I am expecting to hear something like "no way, you have to pay", at least I will know I tried. My sketch, would you add/change anything? "To whom it may concern, My name is K.J.K. and I am representing a certain group.I am contacting You, hopefully, a person in charge of old resources (current and shutdown companies & their assets - a person familiar with Raven Software and their Jedi Knight Series would be the most appreciated). We would like to ask about permission to use of one of your shut down Studio assets within another of Your Productions in a non-commercial manner. The process I would like to talk over is professionally being called as porting - it is a process of preparing an existing file to work within another title with no or absolutely minimal visual change to the model, and with all due respect for original authors. Raven Software had said at one point that moving assets from JK2 (Jedi Knight 2) to JKA (Jedi Knight Academy), (and vice versa) is fine. I would like to understand, how would You look at the same thing happening between JK2/JKA and (insert title of a game here). Looking forward to hearing from You,K.J.K."
  8. I would not release it under my name. I can even change my picture and name to be blank if that will make it more fair and only put the name of original author in it. I am laughing, as these models are now they are scattered over internet for people to grab and use as a base of their work. One guy will 3D print it and sell for few thousands, other will make own model out of it and get credit. Another one will make a trailer for his game using these models. But NO. We can not port it to our game as they are becuase HELL, AMEN. Unfair we would be and bad people. That sums up my thoughs on it, pretty stupid situation. Sorry, if I am being rude here.

Within certain modification I am playing there is a community made Resident Evil map (first Resident Evil), it looks as in that old game no major differences except icons, skins for characters had to be ported, textures to be adjusted and fixed. Sounds are from the original game. It would be unusable if not the work someone had to put in it. I highly doubt it was created from dust, might be wrong - sorry. Would You consider it to be an original work, how do you define the ow it has to be easy to see or setting up to work is also a part or "original work" of the person that is preparing it?
  10. People are free to port models and stuff from Jedi Outcast to Jedi Academy as they were doing till now, correct ? The obvious requirement is to credit it. Why would it be different for other SW titles ?
  11. Thank you for answering my questions. The mistery with this game is that You can not even contact them to ask nor anything, they are dead to this extent. If the author is not providing the copyright information are we not free to assume that the license of these models became some CC? You can not look up their terms: game website, studio website, not even in their wikipedia. Studio ereased all traces of own existence.
  12. Kinect is crossed out then. Everything involved in the flow of the money is not an option. How about, I have in mind a game produced over 7 years ago shutdown a few years ago. You can not play it anymore, noone is making any money out of it. It was purely digital. Models are still to be found... quality models - rotting. I assume porting from old JK Games, Battlefronts is fine because the Developers are not making any money out of it and game itself died, correct me if I am being stupid.
  13. I did not model that myself - I am not the author of anything visible here. As for what I did, I only managed to dig it up from a certain Star Wars Game that has been shut down. Would anyone be willing to finish this? To do: 1. chest badge 2. rest of the head 3. skeleton frame 4. texturing 5. testing
  14. I would like to use Kinect Star Wars Models and port them to Jedi Academy. Do I need to just credit the Studio or I am not allowed to do that by law? (It would be eventually avaiable as a modification for people to download with all due respect - everybody would know of the original source).

  16. As for effect, it is sticking to the rest now. For right leg at least. With left one there is a small problem when I am moving the bones the rest of the leg is not moving along. I did it it in exact same manner as with the other one. No idea what might be the case. It seems like left leg bones are not sticking to the left leg at all for some reason. Damn deep water I got myself in to *desperate laugh*.
  17. So I will now select each cilinder and use the "Affect Pivot Only" function to set the model to 0,0,0 (it will be in the menu on the right somewhere, I guess.) Then, I will add an "xForm modifier" (I can pick that from Modifier List as I understand). And so, after I will click on (...) modifier and collapse all on it. .... And so we are at the part I could not even touch succesfully. I tried moving some already placed things in the hierarchy and I could not, it felt like they were frozen solid. I will add both cilinders as childs of the knees. Should I name them somehow specially or can I go with anything, probably irrelevant as long as the hierarchy is alright I am assuming. Once I have the cilinders set in my hierarchy for each leg I will add the bones - that will make them stick to the rest of the model. I will not be dreaming of texturing as of yet. Let us stop here. I shall try all of that tomorrow, I am not near my computer and it is quite late. Appreciate your time.
  18. I am at the moment robbing hk47 of his legs, kinda. My issue at hand - making the edges of (red color) figure more round like in the earlier picture. I am failing to do so, for a while now... I tried selecting it with element selection, then using turbo smooth effect on it but it was still affecting whole model. Another thing. So I just added a cilinder for each knee as in our picture, but they are not moving along with the rest of model, as I somehow managed to move it with my mouse - it is being left on the spot (cilindrical object inside of the knee - the unselected part). I am assuming I would need to move these parts to l_leg and r_leg directories to make the model recognize it and move along with the rest?
  19. I think I will start with a Pokeball. It showed up as I was browsing tutorials. (Sounds easy enough.) I failed once, I tried working on straight from the game Sabouter model and started by re-shaping - the head it got pretty complicated and I was stuck at getting rid of nose and mouth. Sabouter's body is way thicker than that of Droid, so given that once I have enough of tutorials I will pick some ready to go droid model like IG-88 and start with it (the problem with that droid is his lack of fingers).   21. Dear All, I have no experience in modding. I have no experience in asking for help. I can not really draw well I have some simple experiences with making banners/avatars/logos, cutting backgrounds, so let us say I have no experience at all. What I would like to create: That one could come in handy as a reference to what we would be creating - in term of the shape precisely. Author of the above is Mr. Andre Kirk. Thank You for Your work. The final effect might be more like: Model would have support for dismemberment - that is the part of fun too!(So I saw this Droid once (and it got stuck in my head, for good) in Star Wars Clone Wars rude Maul sliced them to bits. These Droids had some interesting sounds "I want a scan of the entire perimeter", "You are coming with us", "halt" "*siren sound", "intruder", "where are You". Anyway, it would make a damn fine asset to the Trooper Class for Movie Battles. Rebels, badly need some Droids too). What can I provide as for now: I have some original sounds ready, the ones quoted earlier. I could also provide sounds to other skins you are currently working on, or refresh the sounds of an old skin. Might be even a few of them - your choice. What else can I say to You people of JKHub... Soldier class in MB2 is the very first step in to the game, it is a great chance to get to understand the basics and appreciate having 3 lives over next seconds (from my experience). Having a wider choice of Soldier class characters would most certainly encourage people to loosen up a little trying so hard on Jedi and instead allow them to focus on team play as a Soldier resulting in improvement of lots of things. I can bet, Your finger, anyone of us saw that one guy saying "If You are a newcomer, do not take Jedi" do not destroy my fun dying in first 30 seconds - I am sure he meant. There is a lot of truth in that (I suck as Jedi, but I am still playing it for Kanan, Ezra and Starkiller skins as for my case and that lightsaber and powers of course, others might be picking that Jedi/Sith becuse even if it is hard to learn it is most rewarding and fun to play (also, these classes offer a quite wide choice of skins*). Brand new face, like our little Droid would be really appreciated in a long term by new and old players alike. I am well aware we all have our lives and other things to do I would help out with something that does not include playing with models if it was possible. So if You have anything on Your mind, please share. Please help me out - You are my only hope, Sincerly, K_4.
