      Bevels are always stretched somewhere, also they and endcaps can't have downscaled textures reliably (no controls for it). Not sure how 1.4 handles those. 1.6's is nonexistant for caps/bevels, to what I can see.

      You can control the texture and texture scaling on a patch with the Patch Properties tool (Shift + S in 1.5).
