  3. I am going to be working 12 hour night shifts at work today and tomorrow, so it will be a couple days before I upload some teasers of the cantina. Keep checkin in for updates guys The support is definately helping!

  5. New shader, its a darker water texture, so its kind of hard to see in the picture.. but one things for sure, its more fitting for the atmosphere
  6. Things to come: I am going to be working on creating that water shader sometime soon, aswell as I am currently working on the Cantina/Bar area of the map. It is going to have a bar section, aswell as a sitting room with a stage. Ill upload some pictures when I get time
  7. Well, I have played the other two, thats why im debating on getting it. I love RPG games so its probably worth it just for that reason

  9. I agree with that, perhaps we can make a JKHub academy or something. Each collaborator gets to create a specific room that they signed up for, another mapper does lighting, another sounds.. Idk lol large scale collaborations are rare because most mappers have their own unique style of mapping, and architecture, It would be hard to get the rooms to all blend together into one theme. But if we make it so that each Collaborator gets one room to design they will take time on their room, and make it look .. well beautiful. Hopefully anyway. Everyone is at a different skill lvl
  10. Hey guys, I am Polterninja34, some of my clan mates call me "Polt" feel free to call me either or. I am very excited to be here on JKHub for the reason that this community could be the helping hand I need to start producing more maps for release, instead of exclusives such as Clan maps, and just maps to mess around on in private on the server. In a perfect world I would love to atleast release 1-2 maps a year, and perhaps even learn some new ways to Mod JKA Well, gotta go for now. -Polterninja34 (Polt)

  15. Just thought I would post about the map quick. I tested it out last night, and literally felt like a modded gtkradiant would be the only way everything looked so.. perfect. Then I realized, a good use of textures, and mixture of lighting, music, and visual effects make this yet another legendary map by Szico VII Well done bro!
  16. Yes, as stated above, I will be working on making a dark reflective water shader. The up and down arrows are for the gravity lifts on the left, and on the right. One is up, the other. Down. You can see the gravity lifts on the left and the right, they are the glass tubes.

  19. Thanks guys, I actually am trying to create a more ''clear watered'' shader.. But it has been a while since I have worked with shaders. Hmm ill see what I can do with it tho guys! I would like to inform you that due to a hard drive failure, I am only able to share with you the beta version of the map. With that being said please understand there are many glitches and other things, such as, missing textures and open empty areas. Behind the Scenes: I am Polterninja, a.k.a. Polter. I started developing this map in july of 2010, and I was in beta stage before my hard drive failure. I decided I would go with a variety of mixed themes that are apparent in the hotel rooms. but mostly the map has two main areas, a beach, and a tatooine city/academy. both areas contain some secrets here and there. -------Installation------------- In order to install the map into your game you must: 1)Extract the folder 2)Put the djehangoutv1.pk3 file in your programfiles\lucasarts\jediknightjediacademy\base folder 3)Run Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (MP) 4)Enjoy -------Credits------------- This map is created for <{DJE}> clan usage. So earlier this year the clan that I am in <{DJE}> created a youtube account, and we decided to make a DarkJediTV map that we can use for making stuff on our channel, and just messing around.. etc. So expect a map sort of like JediCouncilGCX, but not like a copy of the map. This is a map built from the ground up built to the standards of the members of DJE. So what I have so far, is just a hidden duel room, and an entry way to the duel room.
