I don't think that's what @therfiles means by "good person". What he's saying is treat someone with respect if you wish to be treated with respect in return, and your criticism will serve a purpose, then. Otherwise the other person might just think you're being a d*ck, and not pay attention to what you're actually saying. If you go all-out "this is crap and that is crap" without actually considering what that other person had to go through to accomplish tha...

...that "crap", then you might as well not criticise because it's pointless. And don't be surprised that the other person gets offended, then.

@Cerez Oh, I agree, however, if someone makes a blob with a lightsaber and the character is supposed to be a version of Luke, expect me to comment "This... isn't Luke, its LITERALLY a blob with a lightsaber."

I'm going to give constructive criticism where it needs it, while also praising what was done right. The reason why I made this is because I've seen people on this site offended...
