The way the original topic was sentenced implied that minilogoguy18 hadn't read anything about it before downloading it and came to assumptions without looking into it.

I'm sure I'll find other things if there were people online to where the TFFA match would actually start which leads me to why the F would you choose TFFA for a MMO based mod? FFA would be far more appropriate for the servers to run.

Maybe if you would have read the actual release information, you'd realise that it's phase 1 of the mod.

There will be soon, JA++ server-side is actually rather close to an initial release.

If you're interested in playing on JA++ server-side, there's a server called 'The Hub' up, located in Australia - everything is enabled and there's also gametype voting and a few other features. (Type /callvote and take a look, there are a few new JA++ features such as 'pause' (not perfect) and cointoss)

JA++ server-side has lua plugin support, so if you want a feature you will be able to add it yourself (although at this moment the server-side API isn't very extensive).

There are more security fixes and bug fixes, some of which aren't in any other mod (that I know of).

Indeed, a lot of people have spent years and a lot of their time on JKG, it's definitely the most deserving mod I can think of (in the JKA community) to vote for.

Well using it as an IRC hostname would be pretty much using it as a proxy, though it was in jest.

@@spior however could make use of it as somewhere to host his SpiBot (an IRC bot) for a bit, since his net sucks.

Can I use it as a hostname VPS for IRC?

I keep meaning to finish this game. But the start is SOOOO SLOOW to get going that i die of bordum before i get to the real game...

Honestly, it's not as good as the old legend of zelda (obviously), but it's still worth playing.
