  1. (Of course since there is no any other mods which is good for FFing).

There will be soon, JA++ server-side is actually rather close to an initial release.

If you're interested in playing on JA++ server-side, there's a server called 'The Hub' up, located in Australia - everything is enabled and there's also gametype voting and a few other features. (Type /callvote and take a look, there are a few new JA++ features such as 'pause' (not perfect) and cointoss)

JA++ server-side has lua plugin support, so if you want a feature you will be able to add it yourself (although at this moment the server-side API isn't very extensive).

There are more security fixes and bug fixes, some of which aren't in any other mod (that I know of).

  2. I don't think we need a chatbox service when we can just use an IRC channel (read: the 'unofficial' jkhub channel on arloriaNET) for free - considering Caelum seems to be having trouble scraping up the donations he needs as is.

  3. hurhur do explain cause I have no knowledge of IRC.

Here's the host's TOC, doubt IRC bots fall anywhere in that category.

"The following scripts are prohibited from use on our server and may not be uploaded or run. Reasons for banning them include adverse effects on server load, invitations to hackers/spammers/criminal activity, etc.

    • Nulled Scripts
    • Phishing
    • Malware or Viruses
    • CPU or bandwidth intensive scripts
    • DoS/DDoS Scripts
    • Mailbombers or SPAM scripts
    • Images/Video of minors
    • Public Proxies / VPN's
    • Torrents
    • Warez or Warez Linking

    "

I'd like to wait a bit and see if anyone in JKA takes it up first.

P.S quote me a bit or something cause I'm tired of refreshing to see if anyone has replied xD despite setting notifications settings <.<

Well using it as an IRC hostname would be pretty much using it as a proxy, though it was in jest.

@@spior however could make use of it as somewhere to host his SpiBot (an IRC bot) for a bit, since his net sucks.
