  1. well, for temporaney fix the silly rools. you can add the "norolls 1" to SAB file of your jedi and jedi not make more rools when jumps. :)

there was also noflips and nocartwheels if i remember fine.

Can you please elaborate? I have only encountered this ".sab" file extension exclusively in saber related files. How can changing them will affect my player model behavior?

  2. This is an interesting request and I kinda agree with the sense behind it. However, the animations in the second uh...animation, seem a bit too stiff.

Yes, stiff, that's not a bad way to put it. But that was just an example of something different. I've been looking on animations from Battlefronts and other Star Wars games and there are plenty of ideas to draw from.

what games are these from?

The first one is from a regular ja+ client (demo from xjedi client rendered through jamme). Nothing special. The second one in not a game yet, just a project that might see some light in the future.

  3. It was brought up to me and now I cannot unsee that jumping in this game sometimes looks silly. I mean all the somersaults and barrel rolls while in air. Is there a better (simpler) alternative animation for jumping? Would anyone bother to create one?

    Normal, normal, suddenly Sonic?

Not jka, but this pose I like better for some reason. It looks like he is afraid of heights and braces for impact.  :)

  4. Hello everybody, quick question here: can I program camera zoom (fov, effectively) just as it is possible with dof or speed between camera points? If so, how? If not, is there a way to do it with different tools or commands?

"cmds" file has this line: "camera fov (a)0, directly control fov, optional "a" before number to add to current value"

but it does not seem to work the way I want it. As soon as I lock the camera (R)  the fov value goes back to the previous "cg_fov" setting instead of "camera fov" that i have just set.

I hope what I'm saying makes sense.  :)

    Here is what I'm after:

    P. S. I guess i can render the same shot twice with a different fov setting and then get what I want with editing, but that is not an ideal solution.

  5. Scraped off the rust after a few weeks of not touching jaMME...

I liked the original trailer with Charles Dance's narration so much. Great video. Also, on 00:15 there, what map is that? Looks pretty.

  6. I like how the parade included public executions and rampaging AT-STs.

That was more of an after-partyBesides, the stormtroopers were carrying their guns with them so it's not all that bad.  :)

  7. What map is that? :D.

    Thanks :)

It's a custom map (South Tower) that was made for one of the UAG servers. We use it every autumn, fits rather nicely :) And you can find it on filefront of course.

  8.

Just realised I may bumping this topic, but I saw no rule about this, so bear with me!

Anyway, I thought I'd share this with you...

Same here. Hi everybody. As everyone has completely ignored that blue x-wing (small SW reference.. kind of) in my video i thought i'd find a different audience. Though i doubt that this is worthy of a new topic on jkhub, so sorry. Rules are not clear enough   :)

The video may be choppy a bit but i'm quite happy with the result. jaMMe is awesome  :)
