.sab wont save

When i finished editing the .sab file in wordpad it wont save even though i hit save, not a very techy person so its probably something obvious.

Im just trying to add the holster from the JKA enhanced mod

Does it say it's a read only file?

Did you open it from Pakscape while the game is open as well?

1. Make sure the .sab file *isn't* set to 'Read Only' in its Properties.

2. Failing point 1, when you go to save, instead click "Save As",

- Save it as "(whatever the name is).sab.txt. File will then save correctly.

- Go to file in Windows Explorer

- Rename file and delete the extra ".txt" extension.

- Confirm change.

- Replace original file with newly edited/newly named file.

 

Problem should be solved.
