GtkRadiant abomination, please send help.

I installed GtkRadiant however it did need "vcredist_x86" and "vcredist_x64" to run, I launched it for the first time ever and got this mess.. can anyone please help me?

Uhh, where did you get vcredist_x86 from?

What graphics card, and do you have latest drivers? Did radiant set the desktop compositing to disable aero or is it like that always? Which version of radiant was installed/downloaded?
