Omega Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 I know it's against the sites rules to upload ported content and I will obey and respect the sites rules, though I do have a question. If such ported content exists that you are looking for, is it okay to ask around for it and have it sent to you as a personal message? I just didn't want to go and post a picture in a forum of ported content and ask if anyone has it before asking if that's okay to do so. I'm a new member here so I'm just trying to stay in good actions here and respect the site, thanks.

eezstreet Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Generally, we argue that if it's not 100% ported (as in, you change the sounds or the textures or something, so that's alright) then you're most likely fine. This does not cover re-mirrors or uploads, which require permission from the original author. That being said, by uploading a file, it's your responsibility and JKH isn't liable if a third party sends a DCMA notice- we act the same way as DeviantArt does in this regard. Omega likes this
