Change Kyles model? JKO2

I was wanting to swap kyles model with that of the Bespin cop, how would i do that?

There's no proper way of doing that without replacing him in single player and multiplayer. If that's alright with you, I can explain further I suppose.

Another question. Are you wanting to really learn how to do it yourself? I don't want to waste time and explain this unless you are willing to do it. No offense at all, that's just usually how this kind of process goes usually.

Of course, I have some modding experience. I am wanting and would rather try to learn these things.

It should just be a matter of moving the bespin cop's model.glm and model_default.skin into kyle's folder in models/players, I believe.

If you have modding experience, that will be easier to explain. Just do what mrwonko said. You can look for other mods that do this and compare what they did and mimic it, but with the model you want.

The one main thing i have forgotten how to do correctly is the extracting and repacking of the .pk3 files.

I'm assuming you're on Windows? Download Pakscape. Then it's just a matter of treating it like a folder. This might be helpful, although it can be a little vague in parts.
