Game crashed when starting a new game

So I tried installing MBII for the Mac and it kept crashing. 

 

For some stupid reason I've misunderstood the FAQ section and placed the /snd_restart command. From then afterwards after ALL the mods where removed leaving just the basic assets. The game keeps crashing everytime I've tried starting a new SP game since I gave up and just wanted to play Single Player from now on

 

I've deleted the game and re-downloaded it and it still does it. Is there some sort of command that I must have pressed to cause the crashing? 

 

Also restarted the computer and yet the same issue arises. 

 

I would really appreciate some assistance and this could be something completely basic and easy that I'm missing.

I simply clicked in the option settings "Default settings" and it has merely reseted the game a its original parameters. 

 

Funny eh?
