Help with JA+

Just downloaded JA+ and now whenever I load into the game my character will act as if being force choked. It's kind of a buggy loop but cant figure out why.

Steam or retail? Did you run the shortcut with +set fs_game japlus? (In your .bat or at the end of the target field for a shortcut.)

 

You could try making a text file, and paste this:

 

start jamp.exe +set fs_game japlus

 

 

Save it as whatever.bat

 

All file types.

 

 

 

In your gamedata folder.

Make sure you take any custom animations out of your base folder, including MB2's base assets pk3, if you have MB2.

Usually the best way to deal with this is to move said animation files to their mods' folders. (Such as japlus_gla_anims.pk3 to japlus, and mb_baseassets.pk3 to MBII).

Then just start your game with a shortcut that includes +set fs_game. Both Japlus and MBII include these in .bat files, if I remember correctly.

That way you can keep playing both mods without problems.
