Widescreen in JKA?

So, not so long ago I installed JKA once more in my newest laptop, but before I do anything I always go to options to modify the video settings, sound, etc.

 

My screen uses a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels (which is the hisghest possible in my computer) and I put in JKA that same resolution, but the game doesn't get widescreen in fullscreen.

 

In the past, JKA was able to get in fullscreen in my laptop until I formatted my computer... Any ideas or any clues of what happened? Or am I crazy and JKA wasn't able to get widescreen from the beginning?

Its always crashed in MP when playing in widescreen. SP works.

Use OpenJK which fixes it and other things.

Widescreen works in MP, you just cannot use the menu to start a solo game, you can connect to servers without crashing and still play multiPLAYER, who the F plays with BOTs?
