Steam Jedi Academy problem

So I have been having JKA for steam for about a year or so now, and out of nowhere this weird thing keeps happening every time I try to launch the game,

     I start up the game, and my name is green and says i am playing JKA for about a second, then it returns to blue (not playing game) and JKA hasn't started whats so ever,

It just doesn't start up at all, if anyone can help, that would be really great

Have you tried good ol' uninstall then reinstall?

Before doing a complete re-download of all of the assets, you may also want to first try validating your game files through Steam to see if any are corrupted & need to be re-downloaded.

Get a pirated copy of it. It should work.
