Trying to play the Dark Forces Remake Mod for Jedi Academy on Windows 10

Ok so I was trying to play this Star Wars Dark Forces Remake Mod which is for Jedi Academy, and I'm just running at a slight problem playing through it. I'm using Windows 10 which is what I also am playing Jedi Academy on Steam. What I did is that I tried to create a shortcut to the jasp file in GameData and placed it on my desktop, then I added the "+set fs_game dfmod" over the target line in the jasp file, and then all of a sudden the game has some weird bugs that I'm encountering even while viewing through the briefing screen with Mon Mothma. I honestly want to ask, how do I properly get this Dark Forces Remake Mod to work even while I'm playing the Steam Version of Jedi Academy?

If you open Jedi Academy normally without that shortcut and select dfmod in the Mods menu in the game does it still have those issues?

I actually tried doing that one but somehow the result that I get upon entering the Dark Forces Remake Mod is slightly worse. It's just kinda weird how it doesn't want to play on Windows 10.

Hi @KyleKatarn1995,

This mod absolutely will work with the steam version on windows 10. The only thing I can think that would be causing this problem of yours is that you have Jedi Academy installed on another drive that isn't your operating system. However, I do want make sure you have the shortcut setup right. Can you please screenshot the properties window?

I don't recommended doing this for the mod, this just one example of how the mod breaks this way. If you were to load the executor level, female Jaden would have spawned instead of Kyle.
