My game will not allow me to add anymore NPC files

I can add tons more NPCs but every time I add a new file my game doesn't detect it. I'm not getting error messages or crashes from this like you do when you add too many NPCs, it's just not loading them.

Have you tried using OpenJK? As far as I know, it can handle more NPCs.
