Is there a way to change a npc's faction?

I want to spawn Dt's Savage https://jkhub.org/files/file/2104-dt-savage-opress/ as an ally instead of an enemy (Also anyone know the name of his saber? I can't seem to figure it out!)

Use Pakscape to open up the pk3 and look for the saber. If you are brand new to modding, check out this:

Oh cool thanks, would this stuff also be possible to replace npc models/npcs in generals with others in maps?

Yes. Just make sure you're not saving over the asset files, but making new pk3 files instead.

Got Savage changed thanks! Ran into my first snag for the npc changing though, it'd be great if you took a look at the thread! Thank you again for the savage help!
