About This File

After consulting the Jedi Knight Community discord about releasing this here, I was given the okay to do so since Raven allows sharing assets between JK2 and JK3.
I am also very lazy, so I'm just gonna copy and paste the description from the ModDB upload I made of this

Just some ports of character models from Jedi Academy I made while watching a blender tutorial for backporting character models. Bot files are included as well, enjoy!
List of ports:
Alora
Alora (Taspir)
Boba Fett
Chewbacca (warning: LOOKS VERY BAD!)
Cultist
Human Merc
Lannik Racto
Jawa
Noghri
Rax Joris
New Reborn
Reborn Masters/Kothos Twins
Rosh Penin
Imperial Saboteur
Snowtrooper
JK3 Tavion

Feel free to use these for some sorta SP mod or whathaveyou, no need to credit me

I seriously wish I knew this pack existed before I wasted time porting over the New Reborn and Reborn Twins myself on Blender. At least this saves me the trouble with some of the other models. Thanks a lot!!

The vast majority (almost everyone) of the players in JK2 use what is called JK2MV (Jedi Knight 2 Multi Version), which supports almost every type of JKA skins and models without the need to port them at all, with the only exception being the RGB skins I believe. Just wanted to let you and @T.Zealot know before you spend time converting models in Blender again in the future :)

Fascinating. So, what about those of us who have no interest in jk2mv such as myself? I was well aware of its existence when I was working on this and I didn't see it as a reason not to, or at best, not a good one. The solution was clear as day and I went ahead and did it, backporting them from JK3. In addition, do not tell me how to spend my time. That's all.

Didn't mean any disrespect, simply providing you with the knowledge about JK2MV to save you time with future modding projects. Don't know of too many who still play JK2 without MV, and in most cases those few come down to them not knowing about JK2MV. Fair enough if you want to support JK2MP (default exe), entirely up to you in the end, but knowing that only about less than a handful of the remaining community doesn't use JK2MV I just wanted to inform you of the existing JKA skin/model support in case you were unaware, so that you didn't have to spend the time converting future models.

What you do in the end matters little to me, but I thought it wrong not to inform you of MV and the fact that very few doesn't use it these days, as I myself as a modder would have found that information useful had I not known on beforehand.

Best of luck with any future modding projects. ?
