The Forgotten Temple 2.0

On behalf of the Republic Galaxy ( »RG« ), we downloaded this map and uploaded it into our server to check it out and review it, so here is the deal.

As Corny states, this is a small map indeed, but sometimes it does not take the size of the map to make the difference rather than the quality. The whole map itself overall really looks nice and with details, the shadows created by the two pillars that guide the pathway to both the Marka Ragnos statues make this map unique, for graphic lovers like me, skins that have glowing shaders applied on them glow a lot in these dark shadows created by the whole engine, imagine that I loved it so much that I asked for a screenshot(which can be seen at my profile), the windows have a great view as if this structure is built somewhere very high, like a Shaolin Monk Monastery, it really adds up to the atmosphere of the whole area. Whereas many would think that both ends of the map will have the Marka Ragnos statue are fooled, because there are 2 small areas that are connected to the ending of the double-pathway as well as extended ceiling areas at the top of the statue that you can sit there with fire torches at your side.There are braziers glowing with epic fire in every corner, making the scene even more magnificant, the ceiling is designed with Sith decoration as well as the pillars that lead down to the floor, it makes the map even more mysterious as if you are visiting ancient civilization sites. All in all, the balance between the lights and the dark areas of the map is very well balanced and adds up to it's size. In Rg's opinion, this is a very nice map for RPG, Clan meetings, Rank trials and duels as well, one thing that may be considered as a drawback if many players would like to hop in at once, the spawn points are only two in that symetric map. Taking all of the above into consideration, the only thing wrong about this map is it's name, that map can in no way be described as a Jedi Temple, the name is misleading to those who may be asking for a Jedi Temple, to take things strict, what does a Marka Ragnos statue do at a Jedi temple!? or even Sith drawings on the walls, the atmosphere itself. The name is misleading and if this map is going to be featured I strongly recommend the author to change it's name for the pride of the map itself.The music as well has completely no connection to the map (Across the Stars soundtrack).
