CTF seems more popular on jk2, on jka at the ups server they sometimes have jk2 style ctfs, was fun

I don't have anything going on on MLK day, no. I would like to at least run an internal test prior to that and hopefully get everything up on the server.

Has the jkg server files been updated?

Such a tight knit community is sometimes a selling point for people. Some people would prefer playing in smaller groups than with large hordes of players. That's part of the reason why players have decided to stick with 1.00 instead of 1.01.

I noticed server crashed, whenever any of you wanna hop on and it seems down just pm me.

I don't know what is it. This is more for creating servers on MP game, right? I am not really interested by MP, I just opened this to see if there was a difference; the only one was I just had the console and the screen freezing. My first problem is about SP.

OpenJK has both singleplayer and multiplayer clients, it's not just for servers. It's like an unofficial 1.02

Try use openjk, fixes alot of bugs

Place the files and folders from zip into base then run 101.bat and run 100.bat when you want to play 1.00 again

Oh, are you using crack exe or iso?

Too many hacks involved in the jk2mv route and technically both projects are shipping assets with GPL engines that are derivatives. Though jk2mv has a file diffing scheme for some stuff like menus but I couldn't find where that is handled.

Nice to see you're having a crack at it, btw on 1.00 a guy has a modded openjk server so it works on 1.00, pretty interesting.

I would like to see:

 

coding-- specifically adding new features like new animations (e.g. ladder anims), usable ladders (both 1st/3rd person view), adding a usable grappling hook, incorporating some SoF2 code features (ladders, absiel/rapelling)

 

Modeling-- character texturing, skin-weighting, packing it up for game usage.

 

The background music MUST be Star Wars sound tracks, Star Wars sound snippets-- and not too loud... playing softly.

A bit off topic but do you still play SoF2? Looking for people to play with haha

Did search for it, there is no .openjk folder even not in .config

My Home directory is a bit full. The name dont seems to be jaconfig.cfg can't find a file like that in my home directory

Is there a My Games folder?

On jk2 they do sv_fps 100 on ctf servers, claiming that it makes the force regen faster. Lol

Was planning to do some streams on my server on my twitch tho i dont have much followers haha

The three most popular serverside mods are Movie Battles II, japlus and japro, to install you usually place the mod folder in gamedata, with skins/models and sabers you can put them in gamedata/base folder

Had a play with friend and another guy and I noticed it is a lot more stable to when I first tried the mod out haha good job on the updates guys

Just do /dir maps or /rcon dir maps when you have rcon on a server. You can also do /dir ext_data/npcs or /dir ext_data/sabers etc

Downloaded sabers are clientside, they'll only work on servers with the sabers also in their base. You can try requesting to the hosts that they add the sabers to their server.

Btw i was friends with the guy who made this saber pack, he also made a jkdf2 model pack, wish he still played. I'll add these sabers to my own servers later and I'll provide the IPs here later
