  2. French. I have 100% translated what Tim sent me as files for KotF 3.0 (which was never released) and could make it again for your team, from English to French.
  3. Did it and forgot to mention not to hesitate to contact me for any help about translations, and that I'd be glad to participate to such a great project as KotF is in my own possibilities.
  4. Oh ok, it was the case in the original KOTF, it made gameplay much more diverse, I find. Well, each character has his very own stats and it makes some challenge and balance, like playing as Darth Vader or the Emperor against an army of sith soldiers won't be as much a challenge as trying to fight your way with a 40 HP Imperial TIE Pilot with a single pistol. Like the Duel of the Fates included made me think about it. The fight is quite long and against one powerful master jedi and his padawan. Instead of having to rely on the Heal force power, Darth Maul could have his light side power cancelled, but guess a large HP and shield bonus fitting is rank as one of the most powerful sith fighter. Well, whatever you do I love this mod and the work you put in it is enormous. Though, maybe this is an idea that could please you to try and apply in the future. Oh and another question concerning NPCS : will very special NPCS like mines monster, Imperial Security Droids, Imperial Sentry Droid, Howlers and such be playable in the future with their own assets? Some cheats (like level 4 mindtrick) allow for this, so I wondered...
  5. Hello, just a question like this, will there be the possibility for the player to have to NPCs stats one day by playing as a certain character? Like having 400 health when playing Kylo Ren etc?
  6. Oh boy, really sorry for the disturbing, that was the point...I didn't see the Updater app in the task manager, I could have known this way... Really sorry, so yep, I'm re-dling this time, well that's an issue I'll know how to cancel next time, thank both of you for your help !

Bien le bonjour, I've tried many things to get the software installed since I DLd it on moddb, the latest ver, 7/09/2018, and...absolutely can't do anything but watch it crash everytime I launch it. So everything is in the data folder. At first, it had troubles with my AV, witch is Bitdefender, s I created exclusions for it not to do anything with the soft when I use it. After that it stopped crashing, I could launch it yesterday evening (the Kotf-Launcher, clicked on Install, as Administrator). It started DLing updates up to 96%. There it stopped, as it was late I put the PC in prolongated standby mode, and when I tried again this morning the soft kept crashing when clicking on Install. What's going on? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your help !

  14. Wow, so you can add very custom weapons, but not play already implemented weapons? That game's very weird..kinda.

No of course, I guessed it's free, just was talking about me buying a retail version instead of playing on steam ^^" Well, I was talking about the original JKA campaign following Jaden Korr and Kyle Katarn, though I guess your own missions would be pretty interesting So was I asking if the original campaign could support your mod's hilts, NPCs, menus... That's okay for weapons, as we're talking about it, will the solo version of the mod support new weapons you're working on? I heard this game is kinda hard for devs & modders to implement new weapons, so...will it be a thing? Okay for NPC spawner, like the character changer it's the feature that made me install KotF by default whenever I installed the game ^^ You're welcome, thank you too for bringing players and this game new and cool stuff and content event about 15 years after its release
  19. Hello there ! I had some questions regarding single player mod of Knights of the Force 2.1 by Linken, which would make buy a retail version of the game... Will the mod support full singleplayer campaign? I often read "multiplayer" and "singleplayer" parts on the topics, but I'm not sure if Singleplayer means Campaign, or Multiplayer with bots? Will the mod bring the menus the older versions did? Like play as a chosen character, give whatever weapon you wanted and give advantages like older version did, like stormtrooper had unlimited ammo for E-11 carbine and all? Will the mod allow for NPC manipulation such as changing their sides, spawning and all? (singleplayer only of course)

Yeah as I stated, it seems like it was since I installed OpenJK, and as before that, shift+² opened the console, and after that it didn't anymore then, I thought OpenJK changed the default biding to shift+escape. Because now, to open AND close the commands console, it is shift + esc, by default, and can't change the binding.
  21. Problem found : OpenJK changes commands console bind to shift + esc, sorry again...
  22. For lightsaber hilts, my bad. In fact I guess it was coming from the "MENU.str" coming with each of the hilts, so the game could only load one at a time. For OpenJK, it's installed since yesterday, and it is really a good piece of game enhancement. So yup, I experienced myself that it is not heavy at all, but fixes what needs to be fixed, thank you !
  23. One question...why does it look like forbidden to modify your files from inside PK3s? For the rest...nothing to say, easy to get

I have looked for OpenJK, but I don't have a clear list of what it changes to the game, sadly...What it exaclty is, etc :/ Well for Singleplayer only then, as they both appear in the custom menu in MP Well I don't know if 128 is the limit as I have a kotor pack, a soldiers pack and an imperial officers pack as well as a few other skins, I don't think it reaches 128, but for example, when the kotor pack is installed, then a few models of the imp officers pack and soldiers pack will disappear, although it is two well different packs. So is the game loading a part from pack and a part from another after loading the whole kotor pack, or else, I don't know...
