I wished to understand what lures people to the series, it seems to have a similar foundation or rather classic formula that made star wars so successful, ironically despite people who bash the series, I suggest they actually look at what cartoons are on TV today, cause most of them are ironicly worse in terms of quality and material, maybe its cause im an 80s kid myself, and I can vaguely remember all the original stuff

It reminds me of a lot of older cartoons, plus the ponies are insanely adorable. Just look at Pinkie Pie's face hnnnnnnng.

I feel the modern cartoons cut out a lot of story telling and a lot of content quality, I can remember when they banned guns in cartoons, Batman, the animated series was the last time I saw guns in a cartoon
