Maugo Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 Are there any mods that do that? I remember there used to be an Ep. 3 Anakin model that changed the blades on MP only. The trail effect didn't work on SP.
Tompa9 Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Jedi Academy Enhanced. There would be also new KOTF and Movie duels 2 with this type of blade General Howard and TheWhitePhoenix like this
Maugo Posted November 4, 2017 Author Posted November 4, 2017 Is there any way to single out the blades from JAEnhanced to use in basejka? I don't like some of its improvements very much.
Tompa9 Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 You need OPEN JK for that and extract sfx blades. General Howard likes this
General Howard Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Yeah, you'd need OpenJK to achieve the saber trail effect you're after, which is a different executable altogether. But you would change the shortcut directory of it to direct to your game's assets and put it in your GameData folder. However though, to get the saber trail you're looking for (movie/cinematic effect), that'd require code modifications, which would need to be added (can be found on GitHub), compiled into an OpenJK executable and you'd run the game from that. But you'd also need to extract the saber gfx from the MB2 assets, for it to work correctly.
