Original concept Stormtrooper

I wonder if we'll ever get our hands on this original Ralph McQuarrie Stormtrooper concept for Jedi Academy that they pretty much wield a lightsaber instead of a blaster they have for the 40th Anniversary? Would almost imagine if someone can actually find a model of that Stormtrooper or perhaps make one like these.

Personally,

 

I would rather see him with stun baton of some kind. That shield should be giving a "real" directional protection? (bunch of blaster shots, one saber swing or one granade, couple sniper shots...) Game could see the shield as saber, just with wider deflection and limited capability of how much it can take before breaking or being dropped.

 

If this gets brough, shield should be a class special not active as we spawn but worn on back and activated from melee for example.

 

Damn fine melee trooper.

don't much care for the baton or shield (or saber at that), but the trooper is wicked!

Oh you gotta love this, I found this 3D model of the Stormtrooper concept helmet and also a figurine photo featuring the full body of the Ralph McQuarrie Stormtrooper. The eyes sure do look so different like it's shades.
