malon
I haven't played JA in 10+ years, but when I did play I goofed around a lot with NPCs, so that's what I started with. I compiled the latest version of OpenJK with Visual Studio for windows today. Pressing ` indicates I am indeed running OpenJK v1.0.1.1 I booted up a new game and did 'npc spawn luke'. There he is, works great. How the heck do I remove him? I've tried "npc kill luke" like 100 times. when doing "npc kill all" and I look at the list of all the deaths it says "killing NPC luke named (null)" - is this a bug with OpenJK? Do I need to "name" the npc on spawn somehow? I've been searching for what feels like forever for an answer to this, but every place I read says "npc kill <npcname>" but it's not working for me. Bug, or am I stupid? Thanks Link to comment
