dark_apprentice Posted October 23, 2016 Author Posted October 23, 2016 Interesting fact I learned - when i search over the internet for any latest updates of my Acer's laptop drivers for the Intel. everything I try to "update" when i start the process I run into messages, that are telling me that my system have the higher version of those drivers and the one I download over internet as "latest" and legit drivers are older versions. Still nothing solves this problem and I am now getting really depressed because the only old game i can play from Star Wars (not that i installed any others to try out), is Star Wars Rogue Squadron.
ensiform Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Upgrade to a PC with a real Nvidia graphics card ._. Laptops, especially older ones, aren't guaranteed to have decent drivers support to include proper OpenGL etc.
dark_apprentice Posted October 23, 2016 Author Posted October 23, 2016 Well I can install the game on my other laptop (Lenovo Y50-70 59442648), but I use this one only for music production (both studio & live) and nothing else, so I prefer to keep it somehow running on the old Acer
ensiform Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 What you prefer and what the realities of running a specific type of older game on an ancient laptop are two wildly different things. dark_apprentice likes this
