Tempust85 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Ok so I've noticed when I'm using misc_model_static instead of misc_model, I don't get the same kind of lighting. It usually looks dull even though there are lights directly above the models. Is there something I need to do to get the lighting to work or is this just a drawback of using misc_model_static?
Solution MoonDog Posted February 9, 2014 Solution Posted February 9, 2014 Drawback. Try using some lightJuniors around those instead. (r_dynamiclight 1)
MoonDog Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Also, do you have a strong reason to not just use misc_models right now?
Tempust85 Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 Thanks. I was seeing if I could save some BSP space.
mrwonko Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I was seeing if I could save some BSP space. To what end? Planning to redistribute your map via floppy disk? Morabis and Circa like this
